Setting up a planted tank can be a hard task especially if it is the first time. There is a lot of free information out there but this information can be confusing. Hi-tech tanks refer to planted tanks which are actively infused with Carbon dioxide (CO2) and hence require all the complicated equipment that comes along with using CO2 in your tanks. In Hi-tech tanks we use CO2, high light levels, a nutritious substrate and a dense planting from day one. In this article we will see how Shay Fertig setup his amazing plant tank.

Tank maintenance: Besides aquascaping, the tank is fully automated, including: Automatic water change (100% RO), 100% a week. Automatic water change (100% RO), 100% a week. Automatic DIY fertilization with peristaltic pumps - KNO3, KH2PO4, KCL, MgSO4, CaCl2, Iron gluconate, Iron EDTA, CSM+B, Flourish Excel. Automatic DIY fertilization with peristaltic pumps - KNO3, KH2PO4, KCL, MgSO4, CaCl2, Iron gluconate, Iron EDTA, CSM + B, Flourish Excel. Trimming- The aquarium is trimmed at least twice a week.
