General information – The Sturisoma festivum is a beautiful and a

peaceful fish from the Loricariidae family.  Due to its character many

fish keepers find the Sturisoma festivum very attractive. In nature the

Sturisoma festivum is a nocturnal but in home tank it can be

observed all day long.

Nutrition - In nature the Sturisoma festivum feeds on algae and small invertebrates, in captivity

it will eat algae and commercial food. Spirulina tabs are recommended. 

Behavior – peaceful    

Maintenance and care – The Sturisoma festivum will appreciate many hiding places decorate the tank

with plants, woods and caves. Perform water changes on weekly Basis Highly aerated and good quality

water is required. The Sturisoma festivum can be kept with other peaceful fish.
