General information – Although It is difficult to grow in aquariums the

Eusteralis stellata with its beautiful shape and shiny color is a very

sought after aquatic plant. Its stems are thick and green in color.

Family - Lamiaceae 

Origin - Australia, Asia 

Size - Height: 15cm-25cm, Width: 10cm-20cm

Maintenance and care – Hard to keep and maintain, this beautiful plant requires intensive light

and addition of CO2 to thrive, it also requires fertilizers such as iron (recommended in the

substrate). The leaves turn reddish as they reach water surface and new shoots will branch

off of the main plant. Eusteralis stellata prefers soft, slightly acidic water.

Propogation- Multiply by lateral shoots
